It's May already and the spring has flown by! I have the kid's school auction projects behind me (that was last weekend, phew!) where I sewed trim on burlap runners (very cool looking), and I cranked out a quilt to put up for auction. Fortunately it did well enough and made it worth while. Too bad I forgot to take a photo of it since I was in such a rush. Good thing I finished it by 2am the night before!!
The next big thing is that my husband and I have a contract on our house and we have to move out in July! That means no sewing for a while... and LOTS of packing! However I'm really itching to get in the studio but that may have to wait.
Have a lovely week and I hope to stop by again soon with PHOTOS as I am more visual than anything!

Happy April Fools! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter.
I just hung my first quilt show at a local cafe, BB Bistro this morning. It runs through the month of April, so if you are in the Annapolis area, please stop by!

Ok, I was going to wait to post some of the new quilts... but I couldn't! So here's a sneak peak at the show:

Welcome!
Please enjoy the photos of my quilts. I started quilting in 2011, making a more traditional quilt for my first son, Philip. It took me ALL YEAR to make! But it made it under the Christmas tree in time-- nothing like a deadline. Then in 2012, I made 5 quilts (including another one for my second son, Roman)! Now it's only March, 2013 and I've already made 4 new quilts! I am hooked!
You'll see by the second quilt I found more modern fabric shops online as well as more blogs, and voila! A newer, fresher look.
I'm amazed by all of the wonderful quilting blogs out there, and I'm excited to be joining the blogging gang!
